1981 Levi’s USA 501 Tag 27x34 Actual 26x30

$325.00
Sold Out

The 501 - the most recognizable and popular jean in history! Straight leg. Button fly.

Originally men’s jeans, now & forevermore unisex

MATERIAL: 100% Cotton

FLY: button

WASH: absolutely stunning classic medium blue wash with fire organic sun fades - tiny thin spot near bum. These have the black bar tacks on back pockets - which were used with the older Selvedge 501s, so these jeans were made in the transitioning period from Selvedge to non-Selvedge. Basically these jeans are made the same as the Selvedge pair when it comes to the fit, just lacking that blue and white stripe on the outer seam when you cuff. These are incredible!

(estimated by care tags, not a guarantee)

FLAT LAY MEASUREMENTS (in inches):

WAIST, RISE, INSEAM: all shown on white slip of feature listing photo AND in the respective photos.

HIP/THIGH: measurements in photos. Please don’t forget to measure these two measurements, shown in the photos, as this will ensure they fit you in the hips and bum area.

PLEASE REFER TO FIT GUIDE FOR MORE HELP. (Link in drop down menu)

ACTUAL SIZE/FIT (per flat lay waist measurement doubled): 26

Or baggy fit: 24

• This is an approximation based solely on the flat lay measurements per my fit guide, not a guarantee to fit.*

EXPECTATIONS OF VINTAGE JEANS

Sold as is. Keep in mind, vintage jeans are not new jeans. Every pair is at least 20 years old, most are older. This means they’ve been worn and likely have signs of wear - i.e. thinning areas, loose threads, signs of previous repair work, discolorations, faint (or not so faint stains), organic distressing, wear at the rivets, wear at the button holes. I do my best to describe these areas/signs of wear&tear, so please - before you buy - understand that you may receive your jeans and there will be signs of aging. Most buy vintage jeans wanting this, but if you want pristine new looking jeans, vintage likely isn’t for you. And that’s A-OK! Also note, the word “vintage” is not synonymous with super worn & faded. Vintage means over 20 years old. An item can be both vintage and still be new or like new condition.
